4th FRIDAYS BOSSA NOVA WITH PAULA MAYA will be celebrating International Jazz Day!
Brazilian artist Paula Maya is an award winning Brazilian pianist-keyboardist, singer, songwriter, band leader, producer, teacher and recording artist. She is the 2024 Global Music Awards Silver Medal Winner in the category Best Instrumentalist. She’s from Rio de Janeiro’s South Zone, the birthplace of Bossa Nova.
Her renditions of classics of the Bossa Nova repertoire and originals, and her great band diving into deep improvisations make this night a must! Her critically acclaimed new release Rio de Janeiro can be found on all major digital platforms and at live shows, where you can get a physical copy! With Masumi Jones on drums, Chris Vestre on guitar and Angel Roman on bass.
