BIPOC Improv Celebration

The Hideout Theatre is excited to present the BIPOC Improv Celebration: a full month of BIPOC-led improv shows presented the entire month of November 2024!
Join us at The Hideout Theatre for a full month of laughs, creativity and community talent, featuring BIPOC led shows aimed at highlighting our BIPOC community´s vast breadth of talent and connection.
Every weekend in November, we´ll bring the stage to life with hilarious performances, surprise guests, and dynamic workshops that celebrate and uplift the voices of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. It´s a month of celebrating cultural diversity and talent, all while spreading joy through improv!
In our work to constantly build a safer space for BIPOC performers and encourage true collaboration both on the stage and within Austin´s performance community we wanted to do more than just put on some shows. So be sure to stick around for a photo booth night, a time to rock the mic in some Karaoke and some special workshops and Q&A sessions w/ talented and experienced improvisers from around the country!
