Plan Sonidero is an Austin based 10 piece cumbia band that is full of energy and is the most authentic when it comes to Mexican sounds and rhythm. Each member has a different background that ranges from Mexico all the way to Houston Tx. You will hear an accordion, a keyboard, a bass guitar, and 6 different percussion pieces, no drum set. When it comes to cumbia, we KNOW cumbia.
Plan Sonidero es un grupo con 10 integrantes llenos de energia y es el mas autentico cuando se habla de sonidos Mexicanos y ritmo. Cada miembro tiene una descendencia diferente que va desde Mexico hasta Houston Tx. Vas escuchar la acordeon, teclados, bajo, y 6 diferentes piezas de percusiones. Cuando se trata de cumbia, nosotros CONOCEMOS la cumbia.
Currently we gig in Austin and anywhere close by. Our goal is to spread our music all over Austin, and expand from there!

Rico-Ico is a border-crossing trio featuring Eusebio “Chevo” Cruz (Roleros Cósmicos) on guitar and lead vocals, Lydia CdeBaca-Cruz (Roleros Cósmicos) on bass guitar and back-up vocals, and Rick Cruz (Sgt. Remo & the Vibratones; Cool Under Fire; The Preachers of Hell County) on drums. Rico-ico’s cumbia-reggae fusion sonido trae el sazón que a la vida le hace falta, mmmmmm que rico.
