Meet-up Time: 10:30am
Wheels down at 11:30am
Mid: Swede Hill Pocket Park
End: The NEW ATX Mosaic Studio Workshop Community Workday, 729 Airport Blvd 2pm-4pm
(Optional End for those not interested in working or if the workshop is at volunteer capacity will be Hi Sign Brewing)
A volunteer based activity where you can make your mark and get a sneak peak during their soft opening by helping out with projects such as fence mural painting, Mosaic signage, adding pavers to the courtyard, gardening and enjoying FREE tacos and coffee!!!
*If you plan to join, they recommend bringing your own work gloves and hand towel.
In case you didn’t get to participate in their “We All Ride” mural, where several bike groups came to their studio and laid tiles to make one large masterpiece, now is your opportunity to build an even more community with this fantastic studio and be part of a great support network. @atxmosaicworkshop and @raasininthesun
Gravel: Possibly Light gravel, but nothing road bikes can’t handle
Bring: Lights, Locks, ID, and Cash for snacks/drinks.
Social Cycling Austin rides AS traffic and NOT AGAINST it. We stop at red lights, yield the right of way and let cars pass as best we can. We don’t block intersections. We are nice to both our fellow riders and the other traffic on the road. LISTEN TO the volunteers helping to lead the ride. They are some nice folks and have your best interest in mind.

REMINDER: The goal has always been to create a safe environment for all riders, but we cannot control, nor do we desire to, every rider’s behavior. We promote personal responsibility, and it is each rider’s responsibility to take care of themselves, and if they choose to ride with us, then they accept those risks inherent in riding a bicycle with a large group of other people riding bicycles.
