Take part in a family-friendly Earth Day Celebration – “It’s So Easy Being Green.” Featuring Red Yarn from Portland, with Andy Sprouts opening. The show will run from 10am-12pm and will have special Earth Day activities.
Red Yarn (aka Andy Furgeson) is an Austin-born, Portland, OR-based family performer who weaves music and puppetry into high-energy shows for all ages. With his engaging performances, rowdy folk-rock recordings, and playful music videos, this red-bearded bard reinvigorates American roots music traditions for younger generations.
Red Yarn and his critter friends are thrilled to return to his hometown for a special Earth Day get-together at the Breakfast Boogie. They’ll perform a mix of traditional folk songs, roots rock originals, and puppet skits about animals, the beauty of nature, community activism, and protecting our planet.
