The fifth show in the Austin Stomp! series is entitled “Coverama!” The original hits, not the original artists. Dallas legends The Mullens (3 pm), Austin’s The Mal Thursday Quintet (2 pm), and The Eric Hisaw Band (1 pm) doing songs by Roky Erickson, The Rolling Stones, The Velvet Underground, Steppenwolf, Johnny Thunders and more, bookended by full sets by The Grateful Eight (12 pm), doing selections from the early Grateful Dead catalog, and ’90s British Rock tribute Lone Star Supernova (4 pm) doing an all-Oasis set. Non-dynamic pricing. With DJ Sue Purr spinning great cover versions between bands.
