Originally from the bayous of southern Louisiana, Paige Plaisance is an Austin-based singer-songwriter whose self-described style, “Swampytonkin’,” blends classic country, Cajun influences, Americana, and soulful Southern storytelling.

Raised on a farm near the Mississippi River, she first developed her musicianship on piano before relocating to Austin, where she became a familiar face in the city’s live music scene.

Today she performs both as a solo artist and with her band, The Yeah You Right Boys, bringing Louisiana flavor to Texas honky-tonks with heartfelt originals and dance-friendly country grooves.

Plaisance has earned recognition for songs like “Queen of Fools,” “Highway 65,” and tracks from her EP Different Now, showcasing a warm, expressive voice and songwriting rooted in Southern life, love, and resilience.

Whether performing intimate acoustic sets or full-band shows, she delivers a sound that bridges classic country traditions with modern Americana, making her a standout on Austin’s thriving live music circuit.
