  1. Great relaxed ride with a super friendly and knowledgeable guide Jake.
Kept us safe on the roads (mostly cycle paths) and gave great insight into some of the lesser known parts of East Austin.
And three lovely taprooms. Happy to recommend!

  2. We had an excellent experience! Jake was our guide, and he did a fantastic job showcasing everything East Austin has to offer. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in exploring the great breweries, art, and culture of East Austin. This was our second time taking this tour, and we’ll definitely be back to do it again!

  3. Awesome ride! Jake was our guide for the brewery tour and did a fantastic job showing us all East Austin has to offer. Very informational yet casual and fun. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to see a little more of east Austin and it’s art and culture. In fact, this is our second time doing this tour!

  4. Worth every penny! The guides are knowledgeable, polite, kind and make you feel comfortable and at home. Special word of appreciation to Jake who took us all round East Austin and got us acquainted with the sights, sounds, tacos and beers in the area. This is the best way to discover the city.

  5. My best friend and I came to visit Austin over a long weekend. We enjoyed every bit of our experience from start to finish. The workers at the base location were super nice and helpful in regards to the bikes/helmets. Our tour guide, Colt, was tons of fun, personable, and super knowledgeable of Texas and beer! My friend and I were the only ones on our specific tour, so it was really nice to come from out of town and learn cool facts about the area while in good company. The bike ride itself was not super long or strenuous as it was mostly on flat land. If you go during the summer or spring, do yourself a favor and put on extra sunscreen and wear light clothing – the Texas sun and heat are no joke. Highly recommend for folks visiting/touring the area and want to get a feel for Texas knowledge and cool hangouts!

  6. Had a great tome. Pretty good value; about 5-6 alcoholic drinks and three food items. Trace, our guide, was incredible. Knowledgeable and personable. He had connections all over town that provided us with a unique experience we will not forget.

  7. This is an extremely late review- a friend and I did this bike tour with Adam on a cold, rainy day and it was so much fun! Learned a bit about Austin’s history, drank delicious beers, and made a new friend. Thank you Adam for a lovely and memorable experience!

  10. My husband and I did the Austin’s Gem tour today. Adam was our guide, and although we are native to the area, we enjoyed learning some new tidbits about our beloved city and enjoyed exploring breweries we had not visited. Adam even adjusted our stops to visit some breweries with cider and wine to accommodate different preferences. Biking on the east side was a blast, not too hard, Adam preps you for the hills, seeks out shade and hydrates you at the breweries. Great time!

  11. Awesome spot to grab a coffee, do some homework and buy a bike. Atmosphere was super chill and laid back. In a hopping part of town so once your done with the coffee study biking you’ve got the city hotspots a few steps away!

  12. My boyfriend and I did the half heart tour in east Austin and it was a great way to explore the area. Adam was an awesome tour guide! He not only showed us some great breweries but also told us some history about Austin and Texas. Really fun tour, definitely recommend it – whether you just moved to Austin, are visiting, or have been here a while!

  13. This was such a fun tour! Adam was a great guide and extremely knowledgeable on beer and explaining the history and culture of Austin. I’ll definitely do this again to try out the different locations!

  14. This was the highlight of our time in Austin! I went to Austin for a girls’ trip with six friends, and Adam, the founder and our guide, scheduled a tour for us last-minute. We did the “1/2 Heart” where we went to three breweries on the East Side of the city. Adam was knowledgeable about beer – who knew it possibly predated agriculture!? – and about the history of the city. He took time to get to know us, and tailored the tour in-the-moment to be the right mix of facts and fun. The breweries we visited were awesome – Hops & Grain, Zilker, and Blue Owl Brewing (our favorite). We saw amazing Austin sites (I don’t want to give too much away!), and had a blast. If I’m ever in Austin again, I will definitely do another tour! I couldn’t recommend Bike & Brew ATX more highly.
