I loved my night at the Heywood. The staff were so kind, the room was adorable, and they’ve thought of every detail. It felt really local and personal in a way you don’t experience in many hotels. Close to great restaurants, East 6th, the Town Lake trail, and downtown.

The Heywood is spectacular in all ways. The location is wonderful, the staff are amazing — very warm and welcoming, very helpful with recommendations. The rooms are lovely and comfy, and the entire hotel is beautifully appointed. Fabulous attention to detail, with perks they don’t even mention in their description. Free parking, worth its weight in gold in Austin!

This is our family’s first choice to stay anywhere in Austin always! The rooms are cozy and quiet. Great ambiance and amenities. The staff are wonderful. It feels like home. Walking distance to so many great restaurants and coffee shops. Love the Heywood!

Heywood is beyond any other hotel experience. They should be a category of their own.

Immaculate grounds, picturesque interior, and your very own space that’s filled with endless serenity. From the lounge chair in the room, to the second floor patio, personalized welcome notes, and handcrafted goodies to great you, Heywood takes accommodations to a new level.

Hot tea/chocolate, water and fresh fruit are available 24/7. Coffee in the morning. Lots of literature to enjoy in the lobby (more like your home living room) or in the porch swings.

Parking is also complimentary.

The staff treats you like family. When you ask for recommendations for dinner/drinks/snacks, they only recommend the best of the best.

If I ever visit Austin again, this will be where I stay. Thank you Heywood!

We couldn’t have had more fun, slept better or enjoyed such a lovely night if we tried. The shower and bubble bath was such a treat and that bed! OH MY GOD! It was like sleeping on a cloud in heaven.

The team did everything in their power to make our stay perfect and it was indeed perfect. All the design details and flourishes really add that special touch to an already fabulous boutique hotel.

We selected the Heywood Hotel for our wedding weekend and could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful our entire stay. On the morning of our wedding, the hotel room looked like a whirling dervish hit it and, when we returned, it was not only cleaned, but everything organized and ready for use. The location was minutes from everywhere we went, parking was easy (not a common occurance in Austin), and the upstairs deck was lovely. The Heywood Hotel added little touches and notes to our room that really made our special weekend feel even more so.

I stayed at the Heywood for a night this past Summer, I booked one of their smallest rooms and had an excellent time. The room was extremely clean ( I am a bit of a nut about this) and the decorations were spot on. I also enjoyed the attention to detail the rooms had, for example, having “Archepelago Botanicals” as the brand of their in room toiletries. The room had a nice array of snacks for purchase and an in room fridge. I found the staff to be helpful and informative, offering to help me with my bags as well as giving good advice on local places to eat and shop;

I also loved having full access to their beautifully furnished patio and lobby. This place is awesome, I highly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here the night before and the night of our wedding. It was fantastic.

The hotel was beautiful and comfortable and the staff was welcoming and friendly They even left us a bottle of champagne and snacks for when we were running around getting ready. We spent a great afternoon and morning sitting on the patio and working on our vows. Thanks for being part of a great weekend!

This is a beautiful, comfortable hotel in the perfect location! I live in Austin (with multiple roommates), so when my mom and her friend came to visit they stayed here and really loved it.

The rooms are clean and modern, but still have a cute, cozy feel to them. The patio area is a great place to hang out, drink wine, and feel like you’re at home. We loved the decor and the swings on the porch. The Heywood is walking distance from awesome cocktail bars and restaurants/food trucks on the East side of Austin. They use all local products and furnishings, and they will let you know where you can purchase them if you find something you like. The staff went above and beyond to make their stay exceptional— things like giving great recommendations, having a french press brought to their rooms, and letting them borrow umbrellas on a rare rainy day. It made their trip to Austin feel truly special.

I would highly recommend staying here if you come to town!
